Suggested sights and sites to see:

  • Cycle to the top of North Head or Mount Victoria, a doddle with these electric bikes and take in the panoramic views of Auckland city and Rangitoto Island. North Head has numerous tunnels to explore and historical gun emplacements, while Mount Victoria has had their bunker vents painted to look like giant mushrooms. Take your pick or venture up both for gorgeous views with a touch of history.

  • Head on down to Torpedo Bay wharf, stop by the Naval museum or cruise down to Cheltenham or Narrowneck beaches for a beach day with plenty of ice cream or fish and chips on the beach!
